Cyberpsychology is the psychology of technology use and online behaviour. One of the areas I am currently working on relates to how we apply principles from cyberpsychology to support digital adoption, and thus promote digital transformation and innovation.

My collaborators and I have various projects in progress, and are developing tools which are informed by cyberpsychological theory to measure barriers to digital adoption, and therefore provide targeted solutions to support organisational digital innovation.
Some of the benefits of our psychologically-informed digital adoption tools could be:
Industrial-organisational
Improving consistency in technology deployment across employees within organisations
Improving organisational capacity-building and training in tech adoption through more personalised needs analysis
Technology Solutions Developers or Marketers
Supporting product onboarding and implementation with clients
Help gain market intelligence and client insights about barriers and drivers of adopting products
Helps increase digital inclusion of products through a more user-centred understanding of user characteristics
Human factors/User-centred design
Supporting digital inclusion (and personalised UX) by understanding how characteristics of users (e.g., demographics, disabilities, early adopters, etc) might ensure more inclusive and accessible tech adoption and adaption
There are lots of opportunity in this space, and we are excited about how we can continue to apply our insights to these important issues.
